MRSA Guide (mrsainfection.org) is published by David Roberts, editor. For any privacy question or request, email editor@mrsainfection.org.

If you submit the newsletter form, we store the email address you enter and the date you submitted it, so we can send you MRSA news updates. That is the only thing the form stores — we do not ask for your name, your health information or any other detail, and you should not send health details to us.

We use your address only to send MRSA Guide updates. We do not sell, rent or share subscriber lists. To be removed, email us and we will delete your address from the list.

The site is funded by display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where you have consented. That processing is carried out by Google under its own policies, which you can read at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can manage or turn off ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com, and block cookies in your browser settings.

Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard request information (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) in order to serve pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use this to build profiles of individual readers.

• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
• We do not require an account to read anything on the site.

Pages link to third-party sources such as CDC, NHS and PubMed so you can verify our claims. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. In practice, for almost every reader the answer is that we hold nothing beyond a newsletter email address if you gave us one. See also the medical disclaimer and editorial policy.
